Dorridge is a village in Solihull, West Midlands, about 12 miles from the centre of the Birmingham. It is near to the M42 motorway, Birmingham Airport, the NEC (The National Exhibition Centre) and Dorridge rail station (which is on the Birmingham Snow Hill to London Marylebone line).

The Parish of St George and St Teresa serves the area comprising the villages of Knowle, Dorridge, Bentley Heath, Eastcote, Barston, Chessets Wood and Hockley Heath. The Parish in Church Canon Law includes the area administered by the priest of Balsall Common.  The two churches are run as separate administrative areas.  N.B.
